Product knowledge is most important part of success in any sales position. Your understanding and ability to answer any question that may arise will set you apart from your competition. If you don't know the true answer, do not make something up, simply tell the business owner that you are not sure, but would be happy to get him the answer. Honesty is always the best policy. You can never learn enough about selling payment processing services any product or service you are selling. Continue to educate yourself on product knowledge and never think that you know everything, as no one ever knows everything.

Selling from a full basket....having many different products to offer will increase your odds of making a sale. What may interest one person, may not interest the next person. Offering not only credit card processing, but other products such as Debit Card Processing, ATM Machines, Check Processing, Pre-Paid Cards, Food Stamps Solutions, E-Commerce Solutions, Point-Of-Sale Software and a variety of other products will surely create interest and close the sale. Not to mention the income streams and commissions associated with all of these products, which can be add to the sale, to increase your income.
